Hope above info help if not please let me know. If I may I suggest you check out this thread here and it is a good thread to learn about this loseless format. I currently use 4850 send 8 channels LPCM to my AVR about a month and without any problem. I am waiting the next TMT release and hope I can just be done with this game and no need to go to the HDMI sound card route. But I heard TMT can able to turn off the downconvert and send untouch signal to AVR.

PowerDVD 10 BD3D delivers award winning playback software and supports playback of Blu-ray Disc 3D titles. PDVD is downsample and Vista upconvert to AVR today. The BDR-2207 is bundled with CyberLink Media Suite 8, which includes PowerDVD 10 BD3D, PowerDirector ® 9, and Power2Go ® 7. Please refer to this thread for more info. Sigmatel is not on their list of supperted sound cards, unfortunately. I believe its a software issue with PowerDVD - their HDMI audio out doesnt work with all sound cards. I now have WMP exporting audio, but not PowerDVD. If you have Yamaha AVR or if you thinking to get a AVR that does this loseless or LPCM format, please be aware of this issue. I actually found that thread as well, and did un-check the Exclusive Mode. Please note that there are a lot of Yamaha AVR users reporting that ATI 4XXX GC is not recognize as HDMI instead of DVI in the HTPC. There is a rumor out there with ATI 48XX GC with next TMT build, we will able to do loseless format. In the near future, we should able to do loseless format such as TrueHD and/or DTS MA from Asus or Azuentech HDMI sound cards via HDMI 1.3a to any loseless capable AVR.

Undo the 2 different plugs in the back of the CD unit Just to update if you have Powerdvd 12 this is an easy way to get it to work: 1) copy the directory 'C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\PowerDVD12\Common\AudioFilter' to another paths e.g.Just carefully lift those clips to release the front panel Typically it is held in place by clips that you will see on the inside edge, after removing the side You may have to remove the front of the case.Open the side on top - usually 2 Phillips head screws.Hold the ON button in for at least 7 seconds.Lay it on the side down where the wires are.

Advantage is they are completely portable and actually quite small and light.ĭesktops : Easy and cheap to fix. Buy the one that does not require a separate power source. Typically under $30, quite portable and small. Better solution is to buy an external DVD drive. It is a unique part only available from the OEM. Laptops: Expensive to replace the component because CD/DVD drives are delicate and fail often. I have yet to see this be a software problem. I have been servicing hundreds of PCs for years.
